Join in the fun this Halloween, with the FBE's 11th annual run, and now even more fun, it’s a Halloween Apple Run! We have a new 5K course too - making it easier to run in costume! The FBE Apple Run has brought thousands of runners to the streets of Belmont to support innovation and educational enrichment in the Belmont Public Schools, raising invaluable funds since our inaugural run in 2013.
As in past years, the first 400 registered runners in the 2023 run receive a hi-tec short sleeve ‘quik-dri’ running shirt.

The FBE Apple Run 5K follows a scenic, 5-kilometer route through Belmont. Starting and ending at the Belmont High School track on Concord Avenue. Total length: 5K.
The FBE Apple Run 2K begins at the Belmont High School track, running along Concord Avenue, looping back, and finishing back at the track. This is more of a cross country style run and is suitable for runners/walkers of all ages and abilities. If you have very young children, a jogging stroller may work best.

The Belmont High School Track is located on Concord Avenue, adjacent to Belmont High School. (See map)
The Track can be easily reached by car and public transportation and there is some parking available for runners at Belmont High School.

5K Course Map 2023
The FBE Apple Run 5K follows a scenic, 5-kilometer route through Belmont. Starting and ending at the Belmont High School track on Concord Avenue. This year’s new course takes us through Belmont’s infamous tunnel and around the beautiful Winn Brook area. Watch out for spooky runners along the way! Total length: 5K.
